Good news! It is possible to repair almost any psychological trauma.
We psychoanalysts have to repair the psychological disorders or breakdowns of the personality: lack of confidence, inhibitions, depression, anxiety attacks, school problems, sexual difficulties… These breakdowns can be small or devastating. But the good news is that they can nearly always be repaired.

My thesis on bulimia and smoking.
My thesis is that both these conditions, of eating and smoking, are first of all psychological disorders. To stop smoking and over-eating, the patient has to first make an inner psychological change.
Nervous eating (chocolates, sweets, pastries) can be quickly cured. Longstanding bulimia with vomiting takes more time but can be cured by my psychological treatment.
If you are a smoker who wants to stop, I can help you too, if you are ready to do some work over 6 to 9 months.

My method: the writing cure.
Through my work with my patients and with children, I have taken “the talking cure” one step further and developed the writing cure. The therapist writes down, word for word, quickly and in pencil, the patient’s discourse as he or she speaks. And at the next session we read out what was said the last time. By this method the beneficial effects of the talking cure are multiplied. The patient hears what he said a second time. He gets distance and perspective on his own words. This allows us to wipe out more completely certain passages and write new ones in their place.

I have adapted this method to the treatment of bulimia and smoking. It can also be done at a distance, from home.

What is the cost?
My fees are not so expensive. My normal rate is 100€ per session in Paris. (150 € if with inusrance or in the UK or USA)

I reserve some time for my Indian patients. My fee for them is 4000 Rupees per session.
